Refund Policy for WaterBear Ceramics

you may request a refund (minus a 10% administrative fee) up to 21 days before your session begins, after which your sale is final.

should you need to miss a class, make up classes are often available - this should be worked out with the studio. please remember that you purchased a seat in a class, not an 8 class pass. should you miss a class without alerting the studio at least 24 hours beforehand, you will not receive a make up class. make up classes are only available if you are in communication with the studio before the missed class. students are only guaranteed one make up class per session unless otherwise discussed before enrollment. all make up classes must be completed during standard studio operating hours and before the final week of your session.

all private event, one time class, workshop, and membership sales are final.

Studio Membership Refunds

We understand that circumstances can change. Our refund policy for studio memberships is designed to be fair while maintaining the sustainability of our creative space.

Membership Cancellation

  • Monthly Memberships: Cancel anytime with 30 days written notice. No refund for the current billing period.
  • Two-Month Packages: Refunds available within the first 7 days of membership start date, minus a $25 processing fee.

Unused Services

Unused firing allowances and studio time do not carry over between billing periods and are non-refundable.

Emergency Circumstances

We may consider partial refunds for documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at waterbearceramics@gmail.com with your membership details and reason for cancellation.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

This policy is effective as of the date of your membership purchase and may be updated periodically.
