Beginner’s Wheel Throwing & Hand building is a 90-minute class that introduces you to essential ceramic techniques. You’ll learn how to prepare your clay and wheel, practice basic throwing skills, and follow proper cleanup procedures. The class also covers trimming your pieces and reclaiming trimmings. On the hand building side, you’ll work with the slab roller and extruders, learn the basics of secure attachments, and understand how to rest and finish your pieces. This combined class gives you a well-rounded foundation in both wheel and hand building methods.
